Hampton Inn Columbia I-20-Clemson Road

This is one of the best hotels we've stayed at. The front desk employees were extremely helpful. Derek is the front desk employee who helped us so much at the time we needed it most. Checked in at the latest hours because another hotel canceled our reservation at the last minute. They made us feel right at home .thank u to everyone.

Great experience, staff were all kind towards me. I appreciate the breakfast options, right off the highway. Next time I stay here, I plan to bring my own pillow (I like them more firm). Thank you.

Their front desk and breakfast staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean. Our room was spacious and clean. Vending machine and ice machine on our floor. Their breakfast is good and they change it daily, wow. Awesome coffee available at all times. I didn't care for the sour bleach water smell when you entered the lobby. And we ask for a list of local restaurants , we were referred to Door Dash (too expensive) Those two items would be our only critique. Everything and everyone else was excellent. We'll definitely come back.

Hotel rooms were spacious and clean. The staff is very friendly even coming in late at night. Would definitely come back again. Only thing I would change is the outdated tvs.

I’m torn between a 3 & a 4 on this one, always wishing I could give a 5. The bed was okay, but the pillows were not great, at all! There wasn’t a vent fan in the bathroom. That was peculiar, but certainly not a deal breaker. Lots of light came in from under the door at night. More off putting than that, the morning cleaning staff/other guests & ALL of their chatter that came in as well. But I’m aware, the average hotel does not excel in sound proofing. The biggest disappointment was our refrigerator did not work. We brought back really expensive leftovers from dinner, and they sadly went to waste in the fridge. We were room 401. The breakfast area TV also had a huge defect in it, but also NOT a deal breaker. I would’ve left all of this in the review survey, but it has since expired. The front desk staff, Xavier, I believe was incredibly pleasant. This matters most…how you treat people! For that alone, I’d be happy to stay here again.

Oh, Boy, I've waited to review this one. So while traveling for business in needed a quick stop near lugoff SC, from my previous experience the lodging in actual Lugoff isn't hitting on much so I decided to try Columbia near my site I needed to be the next day. After pulling up to the hotel, I noticed how clean the parking lot was even though it was nestled being a waffle house and gas station. Even though being behind these, the area was clean and didn't smell, and the parking lot didn't connect to the back of these businesses, so Bravo to the building engineer. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by a lovely lady who thanked me numerous times for being a reward member and gifted me a goodie bag. After checking in and making my way to the room I open my door and the room was perfect temperature, so clean you could lick the floor and a sweet little card thanking me again for staying with them. Literally took a shower and slept what felt like 13 hours. I woke up and went to their little gym, which had equipment that would rival most planet fitnesses. The gym was clean, cool, and had bottled water and towels. Not to mention, the equipment worked amazing, which says a lot to me. After that, I came back showered checked out super fast, all while smelling the amazing breakfast, which I didn't eat but smelled great. Thank you, honestly, for the lovely stay, I will definitely be back!!

Nice place, room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Restaurant was very simple but the burgers were excellent.

This location is nice and safe. I would advise you turn onto Clemson road from I-20 because if you come from the other direction of Clemson road there is no turn sign on the traffic light and you will sit there forever. The hotel is tucked away in a corner and very nice inside. Breakfast was okay. The cranberry juice is Good!!! The front desk staff is nice and the place was clean overall. The room was spacious and felt like a studio apartment. The bathroom is beautiful.
